We lived the problem before we built the solution.

Finding a PG in India is still broken in 2025. After months of research — talking to tenants, owners, and brokers across Chandigarh and Mohali — we saw the same four problems everywhere.

So we built something different. No brokers. No fake listings. No hidden charges. Just direct connections between owners and tenants.

Our journey

From frustration to platform.

We didn't wake up one day and decide to build a startup. It started with a real problem — watching people overpay brokers for rooms that didn't match the photos.

Early 2024
The research phase
Talked to 50+ tenants and PG owners in Chandigarh and Mohali. Confirmed the broker problem was real, widespread, and unsolved by existing platforms.
Mid 2024
First build
Built the first version of the owner dashboard — rent tracking, tenant management, basic analytics. Tested with 3 PG owners locally.
Late 2024
StayRove tenant site
Launched the tenant-facing listing site. Owners list their PGs, tenants search and contact directly. Zero broker fees on both sides.
2025
Visitor analytics + enquiries
Added real visitor data for owners — who viewed, who clicked WhatsApp, conversion rates. Then added direct enquiry system so tenants can message owners in-app.
Now
Growing in Mohali & Chandigarh
Focused on becoming the go-to platform for this region before expanding. Every feature ships based on what real users ask for.
